SCORPION JACK

They play hi-energy acoustic folk rock.  They are a duo who fill a place with volume and charisma.  There quick wit and aura draw people in for more.  They gig regularly through Northern Ireland and our currently organising a tour in Scotland and England for December of this year and have plans to go far off to gig.

Debut EP, 5 Gallon Drum will be available to buy shortly and their album is coming along nicely being recorded in the LIB LAB the recording studio / charity that the pair contribute to running.

A set of organically made sounds with high energy these two are an oxymoron of sounds that leaving listeners rejuvenated and ready for more Scorpion Jack-age.

 

 

The premier acoustic folk rock group in Ireland today, Scorpion Jack set a blistering work schedule with recordings, workshops, performances, teaching and session work at a continuous flow.

World class Bodhran player Rohan Young sets the standard with his phenomenal playing and talent.

David Preston sets out songs and lyrics to captivate and engage the audience entertained with an array of emotions, humour and intrigue.

The pair are nearing completion of their debut album, "No Thanks, Yes Please" to be released in early summer time digitally and in hard copy at selected stores and sites.

Setting themselves more work to get done throughout 2010 these two are set for wonderful heights of dizzying projects, accomplishments and ideas.
